The squad arrives on the back of their strongest-ever season — a historic first international 7s win claimed in Andorra in June — and now has its sights set on a first-ever international beach rugby win.

Context — a year of firsts
2026 has been a landmark year for Estonian women’s rugby. In May the women’s national team played their first-ever XV international, hosting Latvia in Tiskre. In June they won their first international 7s match at the Rugby Europe Conference tournament in Andorra. Now it’s beach rugby’s turn.
Head coach
Marten Martinson: “These players are hungry. The season has shown we can compete at international level — we got that first win in Andorra and Chisinau is the next challenge. The goal is simple: win more matches and bring home a first international beach rugby win.”
