Inaugural match at a new stadium!
8th August 2020 marks a very special day for Estonian rugby community. Together with our good sponsors Sportbet.io we have finally achieved a milestone, where there is a dedicated purpose built Rugby and Cricket stadium close to Tallinn. This new stadium will be a home base for two teams – RFC Tallinn Kalev and Estonian National Team.Still works to be completed, but we have reached a point, where Tallinn Kalev can host their first home game in the new stadium: Tallinn Kalev RFV will host Porvoo Old Town Shamrocks in Finnish Championship 2nd round game.In addition to the opening of the new stadium, 8th of August will be a special day for Estonian rugby as a day when the Estonia Ladies Rugby Team first took the field: the team will play a friendly of rugby 7s against Nato eFP Ladies from Tapa.
